Baltic Amber Rainbow Dark Round Teething Necklace

This Rainbow Dark round amber teething necklace is 33 cm in length and is made to be worn by teething children. Amber teething necklaces provide natural relief from teething symptoms and are ideal for both boys and girls to wear. The two colours of amber may vary slightly to photo, usually they are a honey colour and cognac coloured beads.

Each necklace is hand-crafted by Baltic amber specialists with generations of experience working with this unique and rare material. Every amber teething necklace features carefully polished and softly rounded Baltic amber beads, which unlike cheaper amber 'chips', lay comfortably against baby's skin. This allows maximum skin contact and gives added comfort to your child.

Safety is a priority for us when manufacturing our necklaces.  To enable us to offer you the highest safety for your child we only use synthetic plastic clasps with a screw thread which has been glued into the barrel of the clasp NOT sterling silver clasps.  Sterling silver clasps are designed for fashion and high end jewellery so that the clasps DO NOT release and so you don't lose your jewellery.  Plastic screw clasps are designed to release if any pressure is applied to the joint.  Cotton is also used for this reason and not silk.

Amber has many therapeutic qualities and provides natural pain relief.   Amber works by the skin warming the amber which releases healing oils and the oils are then absorbed into the blood stream.

The active ingredient is succinic-acid which was analysed by the pioneer of modern bacteriology, the Nobel-prize winner Robert Koch who confirmed its positive influence and recent scientific research has also proved that succinic acid has a very positive influence on the human organism.

In the 1930's and 40's, European biochemists discovered that succinic acid is an amino acid created naturally in every cell of the body capable of aerobic respiration, participating in the citric acid or Krebs cycle. This is how carbohydrates, fats, and proteins are metabolized into energy. A powerful antioxidant that helps fight toxic free radicals and disruptions of the cardiac rhythm, succinic acid has been shown to stimulate neural system recovery and bolster the immune system, and helps compensate for energy drain in the body and brain, boosting awareness, concentration and reflexes, and reducing stress.
